It’s been a while since I have updated with a full blog.
There has been a lot going on in my personal life that has made time seem slow and simultaneously fast. It never ceases to amaze me at how that can happen. Firstly, my husband and I are expecting our first child in August. We discovered we were pregnant back in early December and since then I have graciously been making friends with the toilet bowl. There is nothing quite like learning to be present then being hideously sick from all smells, associations, textures and mouthfuls of water. There is no doubt that it is my Karma, as I can recall many moments of telling myself that if I fall pregnant, I would never ever complain if I was to get morning sickness. Little did I know that I would be vomiting up to 20 times a day! Thankfully that first 14 weeks have passed and my appetite and ability to stay vertical without vomiting has returned, excitement has set in and we are super curious to meet Little Schoob in August.
The second big announcement is that we have moved back to Sydney. Life decided to throw us some nice curveballs and we have found ourselves back in the big smoke. Our dream ( ok ok, my dream) of building a retreat/workshop space in Bellingen is still thankfully in movement and we are looking forward to starting the building this year. So, there are a lot of foundations being set, which is timely for a numerology 1 year.
Connect the dots is transforming each and every day. We have lots of exciting things on this year, including a Retreat at the end of March, New yoga classes in Sydney, Workshops and a new practitioner offering her work. Our retreat will run over 4 days from the 23rd – 26th of March and will include creative process, meditation, yoga, massages, mindfulness and our DOTS program. We have 5 amazing facilitator’s helping to create this incredible and transformative experience. Rhonda is joining us to support people transform in their lives. She is a truly powerful facilitator that creates a safe and powerful space for this to happen. This has all been updated on our services page and is worth checking out. She runs this out of her space in Redfern.
Mostly, I am looking forward to this year and seeing where it heads. So much opportunity at the beginning of year and so much possibility. All we have to do is truly surrender to whatever comes our way. Sometimes it is a lot easier said then done though!
